For the slightly older

Older children can play with dogs, enjoy pony rides or walking with animals in the surrounding area. They can also ride bicycles, play badminton or use our club equipment. They can walk down the river and have a swim. Mr. Krzysiek will gladly show them the secrets of nature in the nearby forest and meadows. This can be combined with photography lessons. Somewhat older children are able to try to learn how to shoot. You can also play football on the meadow near Grenlanda.

Teenagers also have something to do here, and above all they have a lot of places where they can talk to friends, find new friends or experience complete seclusion.

Rafting on Tanew River

Summer days encourage rafting on the river. We take our volunteers with dinghies and pontoons up the river Tanew, from where they can raft down the river. We also pick them up and take them back to Grenlanda. This trip can last 2-3 hours or almost the whole day, depending on the prefered distance and weather conditions. The river in the summer is shallow and everyone spends part of the time wading in it and having fun with a variety of inflatable floats. Experienced swimmers can also swim in the San river. You can also use pontoons or hire rafters for a historic barge drift. We also have the option of organizing a two-day cruise on the river San from Jarosław to Ulanów with bonfire night camping by the river.

Cycling tours

We have 4 mountain bikes for adults. You can cycle through the forest, where there are many roads and paths convenient for cyclists, or cycle to near historical towns like Ulanów, Rudnik or Biłgoraj. We can prepare food provisions for the road, plan the route for you and advice what to see.

Hiking

The surrounding area is ideal for trekking. You can wander along Tanew river admiring the changing landscapes for hours. This is a great place for walking the dogs without a leash. The old forest starts few hundred meters away from the farm. It stretches for many kilometers, all the way to river San. It is called Ulewszczyzna Forest. The woodland is extremely varied. We have a beautiful old beech park and a fir forest in addition to the classic pine woods. Mid-forest clearings are full of interesting plants and small insect fauna. Some species are rare and difficult to find in other areas. Our books will help you identify the wonders you encounter.

The Club Barn

You will not be bored on rainy days at the club. You can also escape the heat, play snooker or chess, read, drink coffee and even arrange a photo session in our studio. We have a handful of dresses and 4 wigs for the session. You can change at will. We can make a souvenir album from each session. We have a sleigh hidden behind the club in which children like to play, and adults can escape with a cup of coffee from everyone around them.

Every few days we organize a presentation at the club where you can watch the footage of the area and interesting natural and ethnographic documentaries. Finally, guests can watch a feature film selected from our film library.

Bonfire

We have a great and comfortable camp fire spot. It is surrounded by an earth embankment and vegetation, so even loud singing does not disturb other Grenlanda guests. The bonfire has a convenient grill for roasting sausages and other local delicacies.

Library

The library is our pride and constant nuisance. We have the impression that our books reproduce uncontrollably! Supposedly out of our love for them. Part of the excitement is that we would like to share it with you, virtually every house has a smaller or larger library available to our guests. There is something for everyone. There are romance, detective stories and fantasy, as well as popular science books from various fields. The latter are cataloged. You can choose something and ask the hosts to share. We also have books and albums of our own production, which we gladly present to guests. The history of Grenlanda in particular is very popular.

The Tanew River

Tanew river is a wonderful place for kids and pets . It is shallow in the summer, though rapid. Very close to Grenlanda, the river is quite wide so you can easily cross to the other side. We have a grassy sand bank above it, a very comfortable place to picnic. Discreetly sheltered from all of the world, it invites you to relax by the water. It is about 300m from the farm. Walking by Tanew is also a great experience. The river has favorable conditions for swimming and paddling, it can have very high banks, which from time to time descend, creating access to water.

Games and Plays

Every year, we enrich the farm by new board games and outdoor equipment. Please ask what we have, some of the games are no longer. In addition, snooker, darts and chess as well as bridge cards are permanently available to all guests at the club.

Mushrooms

Mushroom picking is a favorite pastime for Grenlanda guests. Depending on the season and weather, you can find a lot of different kinds of mushrooms. We provide assistance in identifying the fungi, so you do not have to worry.

Off road

We can offer an off-road driving a Landrover Discovery II on the army tank test route. It's great fun! We take 2-3 people on a few hour trip to the forests around Stalowa Wola. We take food provisions.

You can try more unusual vehicle closer to home, which we call the sub-carpathian quad.

For dogs

Psy się u nas czują znakomicie. Teren jest ogrodzony, a nasze psy przyjmują gości przyjaźnie. W okolicy nie ma groźnych zwierząt włóczących się samopas. Mamy dla pieskówi ręczniki i dywaniki do spania. Jeśli trzeba czegoś więcej, prosimy o uprzedzenie nas w mailu lub telefonicznie.

Teren na Tanwią to wymarzone miejsce na spacery z psami. Od szosy daleko, można kilometrami iść bez smyczy. Są też bezpieczne miejsca do kąpieli.
